WI cashes in on food & beverage

The food and beverage industry is big business in Wisconsin.

According to FaB Wisconsin, a cross-industry food and beverage membership organization, Wisconsin has over 19,000 food and beverage industry employers with over 366,000 employees, generating $104 billion in economic activity. The state is fourth in the nation for food and beverage manufactured products.

Each year, hundreds of startups in this field are launched.

Businesses in the food and beverage sector look to The Food Finance Institute for support and continuing education. The group is part of the Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship in the University of Wisconsin System.

The Food Finance Institute (FFI) focused on building and funding profitable businesses in the food, beverage, and value-added agriculture sector. Through training, resources, tools, and mentorship, FFI fulfills its mission of making financial technical assistance available to growing enterprises.
