Wisconsin VC Funding for May 2025   

According to PitchBook, Wisconsin startups raised at least $56.23 million in disclosed startup funding in May.

The state’s largest fundraiser was Realta Fusion, an energy company developing a fusion-powered system to produce industrial heat and electricity. By using breakthroughs in superconductors, plasma physics, and computing, the company has designed a streamlined linear fusion reactor that offers a lower-cost, zero-carbon alternative for industrial power and heat. The company raised $35.51 million in Series A venture funding in a deal led by Future Ventures.

Zizzl Health, a Milwaukee-based startup providing human resource management services focused on streamlining payroll, human capital, and benefits raised $10 million from undisclosed investors. This brings the total amount the company has raised to $25 million.
