Secchi soars into 2024
Secchi, a Milwaukee-based Software as a Service (SaaS) company that created human resources-focused software designed to track and manage employee performance, made headlines in 2023 when it raised a friends and family funding round of $1 million.
Since then, the company has made significant gains.
According to Secchi President Mike White, the company experienced a thirty one percent growth rate in the fourth quarter of 2023. The Secchi leadership team anticipates an upward trajectory in 2024, with a focus on customers in the “manufacturing, logistics and other blue-collar industries.”
“We have 100 percent adoption from our early adopters, with three-year contracts and right now we have 100 percent retention with our current customers. We haven’t lost anybody that’s signed up as a beta or early adopter. We are meeting our customers where they need us,” White said.
Another key milestone reached by the company in 2023 was that its customers surpassed 10,000 interactions with the product.
White explained the significance of the achievement stating, “This not only shows we’ve got growth in sales, but we have growth in usage. It proves that (Secchi) is not just one of those things we buy and put on a shelf.”
As Secchi continues to develop its unique technology, Ken DeBauche, VP of Sales & Marketing and Business Development, stresses that the company remains committed to its focus on ease of use for end-users.
“We are continuously working to make it super simple and easy for a frontline leader to let the software help them to connect with their employees and not just be another burden on their plates. We want to make it easy, seamless, and simple. We want to incentivize people to want to use the software,” DeBauche said.
In an effort to create more ease for product users, Secchi is currently prototyping AI generated performance reviews. Additionally, the company is expanding the product’s data analytics capabilities.
Launched in 2021 by co-founders Mike White, Secchi President; Rudy Nigl, VP of Operations and Business Development; and Ken DeBauche, VP of Sales & Marketing and Business Development, the company has developed a SaaS tool to easily track employee data like attendance, disciplinary action, and positive performance recognition.
