Spotted: #MKETech Tour
Wisconsin Startup Coalition and the MKE Tech Hub Coalition partnered to provide a bus tour of three Milwaukee startup businesses. The festivities started at Zywave‘s Wauwatosa headquarters.
Zywave employees mingled with tour guests in the company’s staff room. 
Zywave welcomed tour guests with food and beverages. 
Chad Mason of Advanced Ionics and Erik Thomas of Guardian Angel Devices discussed their growing businesses. 
Eric Rentsch, Senior Vice President, Product Management, discussed the culture of Zywave with tour guests. 
Mikhail Palatnik, Vice President, Product Management & Data Solutions at Zywave, shared the growth story of the InsurTech company.
Matt Cordio filled the double-decker bus with members of the Milwaukee startup ecosystem and headed to Ideawake. The SaaS company is headquartered in Downtown Milwaukee. Founder Coby Skonord presented the company’s origin story and provided advice to new entrepreneurs.
Next stop on the tour was the Advanced Ionics lab. The crowd had the opportunity to learn about the company’s groundbreaking hydrogen technologies and view the lab.
