Milwaukee startup ecosystem veteran Matthew Friedel is the Program Director of UW Milwaukee’s soon-to-be launched startup accelerator, Business Innovation Incubator. The 11-month program is designed for entrepreneurs who want to take their existing businesses to the next level. Participants will meet Wednesday nights during the fall term for entrepreneurial learning workshops that will focus on UWM launches Business Innovation Incubator

The winners of the 2022 Future 50 Awards have been announced. The program that recognizes the fastest growing companies in southeastern Wisconsin was established in 1988 and is jointly presented by the Biz Times and Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce. Rex Academy and MKE Tech Hub Coalition have partnered to provide Milwaukee students with advanced tech skills. The FUSE program, presented by MKE Tech Hub Coalition, is an opportunity for students to expand their technology skills in a summer program focused on professional development. The program runs from June 16 through August 8 and is FUSE uses Rex Academy curriculum
