Wisconsin VC Funding for November 2024

According to PitchBook, Wisconsin startups raised at least $18.33 million in November.

Early reports indicate that the Milwaukee 7 region outraised other part of the state in November.

Advanced Ionics raised $16.72 million through a combination of Series A-1 and Series A-3 venture funding in a deal led by bp Ventures, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $42.28 million. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Lummus Technology, GVP Climate, Clean Energy Ventures and Aster Capital also participated in the round. The funds will be used to catalyze the company’s growth and facilitate the initial deployment of its water vapor electrolyzer technology for heavy industry.

Hjarta Care, founded by Brian Thorson, is a developer of medical equipment designed for surgical explant of endovascular stent grafts. The company provides a safe solution for the removal of stent grafts during open surgical explant.
