The Kenosha Innovation Neighborhood (KIN) has announced ten startups selected to compete in the first Pitch Perfect competition, set for November 12 at the newly opened Kenosha Innovation Center.

The event is a regional showcase of entrepreneurial talent across Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties, organized in collaboration with the Kenosha Area Business Alliance, Racine County Economic Development Corporation, and Walworth County Economic Development Alliance. Additional partners include Carthage College, UW-Parkside, Gateway Technical College, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, the Wisconsin Technology Council, and Tech-Prize. Chase is the event’s presenting sponsor.

“Southeast Wisconsin’s entrepreneurial energy is undeniable,” said Kelly Armstrong, president of Kenosha Innovation Neighborhood. “Pitch Perfect showcases the ingenuity of our region while demonstrating how collaboration across communities fuels real economic growth.”

In addition to the finalist pitches, Landon McKinnis, founder of Private Grooming LLC and creator of the Go Nutz grooming device, will share his experience taking a product from prototype to national exposure on Shark Tank. His talk will focus on product development, intellectual property, and manufacturing challenges.

Pitch Perfect reflects KIN’s broader mission to connect founders with capital, talent, and resources through partnerships that bridge Milwaukee and Chicago’s growing startup corridors.
