Rapid expansion for 3PL Atomix Logistics

Atomix Logistics, has seen tremendous growth in the past year – and there’s even more to come.

The company, which provides creative fulfillment solutions for its 125 ecommerce partners, recently relocated to Cudahy.

Founder and CEO Austin Kreinz was very thoughtful about their relocation and expansion. The company’s new headquarters is between Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport and Lake Michigan.

Their new warehouse is 60,000 sq. ft., more than doubling the size of their previous facility. Even their ceiling has doubled in height to a whopping 28 feet.

Within two weeks of move in, the warehouse was functional and bustling with work. Atomix estimates they will be able to do 10 times more business with this new expansion.

Kreinz said that the relocation will help take Atomix to the “next level.”

In the span of a year, they plan to increase their staff by 20. And over the next few years, they hope to add 60 to 80 more positions.

“We want to be a really large company,” said Kreinz. Atomix hopes to make their next point of expansion a main hub on the west coast.

Making an impact on the local area means even more to someone who grew up in Wisconsin, like Kreinz. He pushes the company to “keep their pulse on what’s going on in the area,” staying in tune with the local business scene and what’s happening in Milwaukee.

“We want to be closely woven in Milwaukee,” he said.
